This Ad Does Everything Right

Amazing skills. Sunshine. L.A. Great Music. Great cinematography.

It just makes the energy on screen highly contagious. It succeeds where I think the Relentless Energy Drink’s “Virtues” spot falls short. While that ad is certainly beautiful with all it’s CGI and and high speed camera goodness, the voice-over starts to grate and as such the music packs less of a punch due to that (honestly annoying) voice-over.

What Lucozade did was just perfect for me. Once I saw the bottle and the brand at the end of the advert I pretty much fell in love, whereas with the Relentless spot I just wanted it to get off my screen. Interestingly enough, I saw both of them for the first time on the cinema screen the other night. The Lucozade ad is a sight to behold, honestly. Yeah, I’m one of those that loves to watch the adverts before the show starts.
